The preparation method of hydrophilic drilling mud barite aggravating agent
by admin / Wednesday, 21 June 2017
This system is part of the LPG mining industry and suitable for the preparation of aggravating drilling mud,in order to increase the aggravating performance of the agitator at the temperature of 150 °. For this reason, water glass is added in the amount of 0.08 to 2.00, equivalent to 0.01 to 0.10% by weight of the barite concentrate, before mixing the barite flotation concentrate into the aqueous solution of tripolyphosphate. In order to strengthen the preparation process in the stirring and simultaneous vibration conditions for barite flotation concentrate treatment, this method can guarantee the different nature of the particles of the activation of hydrophilicity. A water glass was added to the aqueous solution of tripolyphosphate to achieve the whole particles to obtain hydrophilic surface, while the free state of sodium tripolyphosphate was not found in the preparation of the aggravating agent. This may be due to the fact that the water glass is chemically adsorbed on the surface of the layered silicate and quartz particles, and if it is hydrophilic, sodium tripolyphosphate is reversibly adsorbed on the particles to ensure the barite’s chemical adsorption of particles. For example, take 1099 gram barite flotation concentrate with the density of 4.10 g / cm3 and the water content of 9.0% , stirring with 24.59 g aqueous solution containing 2 g of sodium tripolyphosphate and 0.2 g of water glass for 5 minutes. The above amount of the solution ensures the process requirements of the barite aggravating agent prior to drying (11%). In order to uniformly add the hydrophilic layer of the agent to the surface of the whole particle activation, the mixing of the components is required to be match up vibration to carry out. For this purpose, a mixer with two blade-like shafts (0.25 m / sec) and a vibration parameter with an eccentric vibratory linkage (amplitude of 30 Hz at an amplitude of 2.0 mm at the vertical plane) can be used. After treatment, the sample was dried at a temperature of 500 ° C for 3 minutes in a muffin donkey, reach the residual moisture of not more than 2%. The content of free sodium tripolyphosphate was analyzed from the prepared samples, and the hydrophilicity and aggravating performance were measured. The necessary hydrophilicity of the surface had been guaranteed by the best ratio of mixed barite aggravating agent (the hydrophilic index is not less than 80%) and the free trimerization is not present in the product. At the some time, aggravating agent increases the aggravating performance.
